About Healing Tampa Bay

Our Mission

Healing Tampa Bay is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to uplifting and empowering individuals and families in need throughout the Tampa Bay region. We connect our community with vital services such as food stamps (SNAP), Medicaid, housing support, free government phones, and other essential resources. Our mission is simple yet powerful: restore dignity and improve quality of life through access, advocacy, and compassion.

Who We Serve

We proudly serve residents of St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, and surrounding areas, with a special focus on low-income individuals, families, seniors, people experiencing homelessness, and the uninsured. No matter your story, our team is here to help you navigate the system and access the benefits you deserve.

Our Partnerships

Healing Tampa Bay works hand-in-hand with a powerful network of community partners to expand our reach and deepen our impact. These include:

These partnerships allow us to meet people where they are—whether it’s in government buildings, hospital waiting rooms, shelters, churches, or on the street.

    What Makes Us Different

We are on the ground and in the trenches, walking hand-in-hand with the people we serve. Unlike many organizations that rely solely on digital applications or overworked call centers, we provide personal, one-on-one support to ensure no one slips through the cracks. Our team understands the complexity of government systems and simplifies the process for the people who need it most.

    Why We Do It

We believe healing starts with access—to food, medical care, communication, and safe shelter. When someone receives the support they need, their confidence grows, their health improves, and their life begins to stabilize. That’s the power of community—and it’s why we do what we do every day.

    Get Involved

If you believe in second chances and supporting our most vulnerable neighbors, we invite you to be part of our mission:

Together, we can build a healthier, more hopeful, and more connected Tampa Bay.
